Color choices are strictly a matter of personal preference. We can help you select the right wig color based on a sample of your hair. Some wig wearers may want to choose a lighter or darker shade than their natural hair color or a different shade altogether. There is a use for every wig style and color ever made and if you treat your wigs as if they were fashionable pieces of clothing, you will derive more enjoyment from them. Why do you have the best prices on wigs? You may need to increase the frequency of wig washes and reconditionings if you frequent bars, clubs, and other smoky environments. How will I know if a wig color will look right on me? However, to minimize wasted time, it is best to choose "safe" colors first, especially if you do not have a lot of experience with wigs. Why are wigs so expensive? There exist wigs for every budget, but like all products, you get what you pay for. If you think of a wig as a hat that covers your head, you can buy cheapie wigs like that for $10 to $20 each. If you think of a wig as an accessory to your wardrobe, then you can expect to pay upwards of $100 or more for a premium quality wig. Our prices are among the lowest we've seen. All of our wigs are factory fresh, ordered direct from the factory at the time you place your order with us. If something was a piece of crap, I would not dare sell it. Why don't you accept wigs for return or exchange? Our business is based on keeping a minimum inventory. You order from us. We order from the factory. We get the product, inspect it for problems, and, if there are none, send the product to you. The wig factory charges us a 20% restocking fee on returns, so we would have to "eat" the cost of every wig returned to us if we gave refunds. We were considering accepting returns subject to a restocking fee, but the fee would have to be at least 35% of the price and no one wants to pay that. If you know exactly what you want, you will find our company to be of great value. If you don't know exactly what you want, we are willing to work with you on finding a wig appropriate for you. You may send us a photograph of yourself and describe your natural hair color and what kind of look you wish to achieve. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. What is the best way to store a wig? Keeping your wigs on wig stands is the preferred method for storing your wigs. Keep them in a cool, dry place away from humidity and dust. If you wish to store them for several days between uses, spray them with a light coat of revitalizing spray so the wig fibers will have a protective shield on them. Wig stands can be styrofoam heads, plastic fold-out stands, or long aerosol spray cans. If you must store your wigs in boxes, be sure to place a soft round object inside the crown of the wig to prevent the wig from getting smushed inside the box. A fresh, rolled-up pair of tube socks will work. You may also use a small "air pocket," a small plastic bag filled with air, sold by packing supply companies. What is the best way to clean a wig? Use a specially formulated wig shampoo to wash and clean your wigs. The ingredients in regular shampoo may contain harsh detergents that will strip away some of the color and beauty of the wig fibers. Almost all synthetic and human hair wigs are color-treated, so it is best to use a shampoo that is designed to clean wigs rather than take a chance on a product that is not designed to clean wigs. The same goes with hair sprays. Use only specially formulated wig sprays on wigs.
